Our July TMD in the Wissahickon, sponsored by FOW, was once again a huge success. We went back and reworked a couple areas that we thought we fixed back on July 14. Mother Nature unleashed a major downpour the week prior and washed away all of the soil we replaced and some of the rocks. However most of our rock armoring held up! But this made us realize that until PennDOT and PWD address the water dumping issue from Henry Ave, we had better beef up our work with a lot of BFR's. On Saturday July 28, 29 members came out to help and we moved a lot of big f... rocks up from the stream bed and placed them in the "french drains" along the trail.
