Was anyone in the park over the weekend? How is it? Do you think it is fine to ride this afternoon? Anyone want to meet 4-4:30?

honestly, i'd give it a whole nother week...

you saw the pics i took saturday right???

might be good by this weekend if it stays dry but they say it might rain thu/fri.

if i was REALLY hurting to ride in philly this week i'd try for wednesday. but honestly, who knows, if it is dry and windy between now and wed things could be great!

i will definitely get out on the trails for a run tonight or tomorrow so if you want an update; let me know.

Forbiden drive was wet, everything drains into that, and then it hardly drains from there. The trails in the wiss do dry pretty fast due to the shist make up of the majority of the material out there. It is much sandier than most people think. Also, with such deep valleys, it drains pretty well.
I did ride up wises mill rd and saw the entrance to the "new" trail and it looked pretty muddy.
I may try to ride Thursday if we do not get any rain.

I checked out the trails yesterdy (Monday) evening after work and although much of it was rideable, still a LOT of it looked like Max's pictures. Really bad shape. Clearly a lot of people have been riding in the last bunch of days. I cut down to FB and took that back home. Unfortunately I think it's supposed to rain at some point on Wednesday.

It's definitely getting to be time for some spring cleaning of the trails, some portions are way too deep, rutted and widened.

tues nite- besides a few loamy muddy sections that were either ridable or that you had alternate routes on the trails were in pretty good shape.  if it rains...i think itll be another story.  did not hit the demo trail...thats probably a mess...maybe not.??
