I hear quite a bit people asking about a  weekend ride. I often ride on Sundays anyway, so I've posted anew Sunday PMBA ride at 8:30 from Livezy Pavilion.

One reason to go early is to beat any weekend trail crowd, and the other reason is because people often have things to do, and the sooner I can get the ride done the more I can take care of the rest of the day. I'd really like to have the ride roll at 8AM, so 8:30 is a compromise. But let me know your thoughts?

The other factor is that if there is a weekend event, race, camping trip, road trip, or if I actually party the night before, I probably won't be riding. So it's just not going to be as regular as say the Thursday night ride. But if we can get a couple regulars there will always be someone to run it.

See ya Sunday, wheels out, 8:30

I will absolutely join beginning next week once my bike is up and running.  I am waiting for new hoops after cracking my rear rim last weekend.

Yeah, it's not looking good with this continual rain. It's meant to back off during the night but I'm worried the ground will be saturated.

Nonetheless, as of right now I'm planning to ride out from the Pavilion 8:30. But I'll say ahead of time if it if trails are less than good I'll just be heading down the forbidden trail and down to the art museum for a boardwalk type leisure ride.

John, I'm competiting at Bear Creek this Sunday so I won't there for the ride.

there's is another rider who wants to get a beginning ride going on Sundays too, so he may be around this week:  Chuck: http://www.phillymtb.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userProfile&user=506&Itemid=2

Hey Fishnchips, I maybe riding early Sunday morning, so I can swing by and pick any riders that usually ride in your group. I'm looking at more of a casual pace since it'll be a recovery ride for me. I'm putting in a training 70 mile road ride on Saturday, so I'm sure my legs are going to be a bit mussy.

Anyone that wants to ride post up.................

Fishnchips.
Good luck in the race. I wanted to do it but I coach my sons soccer team and won't be able to get back in time. If anyone else wants to ride Sunday morning I'll meet at the Pavilion at 8:30. I'm not going to go if others aren't going, so lets just communicate.

I will plan on doing a beginner loop tomorrow if anyone is interested, just post it up. I cannot make it until 9. This ride can hopefully coordinate with Jesse's Sunday ride and can break off into groups as needed, Just let me know who's interested.

I'd like to ride Sunday at 8:30 or 9. I just don't want to drive over there and not have anyone to ride with. Let me know if anyone is going, and I'll go. If no one replies I'll do something else.

Unfortunately my bike it still out of commission after Bear Creek last Sunday. If you guys still want to pull something off that would be great!

1 week without riding now; it's killing me Angry

I’m going to try to be there Sunday but there’s a chance I won’t make it. Please feel free to join Chuck at 9  (chuck, let us know if you’re on this weekend?) Also, Dan was thinking about an afternoon ride. Anyway, please post your thoughts and plans and with any luck a couple of rides will still be running.

I'm in Jesse if it dries up, I have two beginners coming and I don't want to set a bad example on wet trails, so I'll let the Wiss decide.

I'm cancelling my 9 a.m ride tomorrow because the trails are kinda soft for new riders, I may head out later in the day if conditions improve, ride safe.

Hey Dylan
I think the ride leader, Jesse, has gone to England for a while. Would explain why he did not respond. Someone may have to take over leading this ride till he returns. Any takers?

sorry about that Dylan, I forget to mention to try rockridr (Chuck). I'm gone for next Sunday too. Please remember, at best Sunday ride depends on races and other weekend events, but hopefully between chuck and I, and a few others, it will still be a regular ride.
