Here's some info on Bear Creek. I kinda bummed I'm gonna miss this year since they are having a Super D on Saturday!
:
The Summer Showdown is only a month away. Details are posted at
www.bcmountainresort.com
and
www.bikereg.com
. Pre-register for the races and save $$$. This year, the weekend is packed with plenty of racing along with fun for the whole family. The weekend begins with the short track on Saturday morning on an all new course. On Saturday afternoon, we will be holding our first ever Super D time trial. After the Super D, join us around the bonfire on Saturday night. On Sunday, bring the whole family for the cross country race and season awards ceremony. Along with the race, we will have a kids race, vendor alley, live music, food, drink, games, and movies. Prizes for all classes, including beginners. $3000 cash purse for elite racers.
Rooms at The Inn at Bear Creek are available for race weekend. Rooms start at $95/night. Call 610.641.7101 to book.
The trails are open daily for pre-riding. Stop by The Inn front desk for a free trail pass and map.
