...tree trimming is taking place at road level, and big branched are falling on to the trail on the Roxy side. Almost go nailed by one 2 weeks ago, and they are at it again today. The bridge is getting a face-lift for its 100 year anniversary.

Yo Neil, did you inspect the rest of the trails?? Just curious if anyone has a trail report from yesterday's storm? Looking to ride early tomorrow morning..........

what I saw tonight was sweet, no problems, an great job by the trail elfs on the new log roll.

However with all these log rides; well, I can't do any of them. 6" wide 2' high = Endo  for wimps like me. However, 2' wide 6" high = Bad-ass wimp, so if one or two of these rides end up being doable by us lesser mortals, that would be great  Grin

I did 1/2 loop yesterday (Hermit to Inn), and no major damage.

The trail fairies did do a great job at the new log "choke-point" just north of Wise's Mill. Easy line and "pro-line".

To get a log ride that low (as you dicussed), we would almost have to luck into a tree being hit by lightning, thus splitting in half length-wise. I think it is a great idea, because most log rides are high up with nominal flat, serrated surface area.

Or a tree that falls that is hollowed out inside, and do something with that.

Actually that new one on the Coyle is what I'm talking about. It is the perfect size; cut really deep for a wide line. And falling off the side does not mean 'endo'. Plus, it has a pro line for the immortals.
