After last week's events, I just ordered the interactive one, and called my doctor for blood type, etc.
I am not endorsing company, but learning from an experience that got me thinking.

Whether riding on the trails or the road, I always make it a point to carry my insurance cards and drivers license in my front pocket. If you carry a cell phone I've been told that it's a good idea to include a list of contacts under the title of "Emergency Contacts". Seems like over kill, but I ride alone, a lot so I'd rather be safe than sorry. After just recently spending 9 hours in the ER with a concussion and 7 staples in my head it helped the EMT's identify me. Not a riding accident but still a reality check.
Ordering my road ID next week.....................

I know we at PMBA, FOW and others are making some plans for emergency and safety procedures. But I would also like start collecting some of this valuable information for an
MTB 101
zone that we could put on the site. Everything from emergency procedures, to things like this Road ID or what Pete mentioned, to 'how to choose a bike", to "Clipless pedals and to make the move", etc...
It might even be possible to make it a Wiki so it can forever evolve.
Pete you volunteering?
