Did my first early morning sunrise ride in Wissahickon this morning and all I have to say is it ROCKED!! I've been getting out of bed earleir in the mornings (5-5:30am) and I finally decided to hit the trails to see what it what it was like. Not a soul on the trails and just the right conditions. Still smiling  Grin

Just thought you all wanted to know   Wink

Ah, I always like a side of jealousy with my sandwich for lunch...

Nice! I too have always wondered what a sunrise ride would be like there... sounds like exactly what I imagined.

I do pre-work rides in the summer (actually trying one tomorrow to see how the wrist holds up) at a local secret spot. I think it's a great way to start a workday!

id also be up for a trail running partner for some cross training.  looking to drop 10 lbs....

looking to do before work and start at valley green.

I'm attempting to ride 2-3 times a week in the morning, depending on weather, work and the wife. If I leave the house anywhere between 5:00am-5:45am, that allows at least a 90 minute ride. I should be back home by 7:30 to get ready for work.

My pace for riding is steady and increase as time progresses, but I'm no where near setting any land speed records!!! Not a stroll nor a race.

I roll right out my front door and 3 blocks to Wissahickon. Living on the corner of "The Wall" allows me a few choices of where to start. I'll jump into the park via the the golf course, off Roxborough Ave, or I just head over to the bowl and start from there.

im down for whatever pace...and maybe some xtraining as well...
