Same story as Chuck's. I'm out of commission this week, so unless someone else will be there to herd the masses and make sure the ride is alive, then you are on your own, until next week

Ride Report:

Full moon before sundown!

So I head out on my own yesterday at the Pavilion and ride the Coyle, and decide to go left and ride the Indian loop backward.

Before the Indian there's a rocky muddy section at the top of a hill, I ride that and as I start heading down the hill I'm greeted with a scare Shocked   There's some nasty chick squatting bare ass, right in the middle of the trail, having a pee, while, get this... talking on her cell phone!

I thought it was a dude at first but there was nothing dangling. She freaks out and is trying to pull up her pants, one-handed mind you, because she was still holding the phone to her ear.

I just was speechless but managed to tell her that I can safely say, "I've now seen everything!".

I'm in recovery at home today; I might have to see a therapist. Lips sealed

so I ride on and come across a dude name Dan who has a flat front tire and needs a pump. I spot his shirt as one of the Fisher 29er crew and it turns out he's from Michigan visiting his friend Heidi (our Heidi) and doing a couple days of training in the Wiss. He'd never been here before and was totally digging the trails.

So we get him going and I decide to try and guide him a bit because it's getting late and he wants to loop on back toward East Falls. I start riding race pace to keep up and what do you know, I get a flat! But I don't have anything on me except the pump. Fortunately Dan has some patches, so we fix my flat and start to ride again, and guess what, he has a second flat in his back tire! He's tubeless and out of tubes. But we manage to somehow get air in it and we basically rode back the Forbidden Trail, while I educated him on how great each of the trail sections were above us and how much he'd enjoy riding them if it wasn't' dark and if he had a tire that could hold air...

Anyway, I hope he made it back and I hope he gets a chance to fully check out the Wiss today, though I hope not quite as fully as I saw it yesterday!

So. Did you get her number. I mean....she has a phone, and is able to multitask.

had it been 20 years ago I'm sure I would stopped to patch her flat. Trust me though, you don't want to see what I saw. No man should have to see what I saw!

that's funny jesse!

at the rally, i was on my way from demo 1 to vg and there were these 2 girls walking in front of me, in their bras, sun tanning... as i came around the corner, they start screaming as a i approach them and running down the trail in front of me.

as good as this scenario may seem, they were like 14 or 15.

i had to yell to them to let me pass.
