Hey Everyone,

This Tuesday (4/22) ride from Valley Green is canceled because I have to work in beautiful suburban NJ.   Sad  So, unless someone wants to step up and take over this week, tis canceled.

Should be back on for next week!

Ride is canceled for today, as I can't make it.   Feel free to get out and ride otherwise though!

I have a few other things to take care of, so I don't think I will make the trails tonight.  Ride anyway, but if the trails are wet, be nice.

Chuck & Co.

Fun ride tonight...I was expecting to be pulling up the rear but tonight was a bit worse than I imagined.  Anyway, thanks for waiting and I'll give it another shot once I start getting out 2-3 times per week.

John, you did fine.   This ride was destined to be a bit faster anyway, because some told me they wanted to ride hard before they showed up.

That's why we changed the pace of the Tuesday ride anyway.  There was a big enough group that wanted to have a ride that went a bit faster.

Good ride either way, everyone looked a bit cooked at the end.

Hey Chuck,

How many riders do you average on Tuesdays ride, I thinking of tracking numbers on the future, maybe if we knew the numbers it  such as how often groups of certain sizes ride at certain times, the data could be used to help promote the club. Just a thought right now.

As of the last few weeks I'd say the average is around 4-5.  Last night we had 7 at one point, some nights just 2.  There have been a few evening rides that were larger than that, but for Tues the smaller groups work best.

Tomorrows Tuesday ride from VGI is CANCELED.  In place of the ride, we are planning to help the IMBA crew with trail work.   I will post up more info about this when I have it.

Thanks so much for stepping up Chuck! Bagging your ride in the name of trail radness. Noble indeed.

I finally got some more info for ya. We're meeting at Bells Mill since that is where the material is located. We will be moving material to the worksite and doing some stone pitching and spreading hay bails (sp?).  We hope to be done by 7 but we'll see how it goes. Feel free to come anytime between 4 and 7. I will be there at 430 and will be bringing some tools. I hope some of you can make it. Bring gloves, work boots, and maybe hearing protection if you're sensitive to the noise because there will be machines running. Thanks!!

Today, July 22nd, the ride is on.  But I will not be at VGI to roll out.  Instead look for my brother Nick on a red Raleigh 29er.

9/16  I can't ride today, but dmitri is going to try and lead the ride. If he can't make it, ride anyway.

If you're in Indiana you must already have realized your horrible mistake.

Also, you missed Dimitri's rear axle giving up on life.

No it didn't fall out. But was loose enough for the tire to rub. This is what I found when I took the wheel out.

Update

Industry Nine rocks! Sent them email last night with pictures around 8:30 PM. Was going to follow up with a phone call this morning, but by 8:50 I had an email from them saying that it shouldn't have happened, and they suspect a bad grain the metal or something, and that the replacement is on it's way under warrantee. That's customer service!

Yo Chuck, you on for tonight?

We've got Ben from the IMBA crew joining us at VG and probably will hit General Lafayette Inn for a bite after. I can be designated driver for all who want to come and live in the area. Figuring G. Lafayette around 7:30 to 8.

Let me know if you need a ride...

I am in.  My personal plan was to ride a bit earlier if I can, then show at VGI for the normal ride.  We will ride till dark this week, which isn't super long.

The General sounds good to me.  I can drive if need as Nick would probably good too.   Or if you have enough room, I can take you up on your offer.
