THanks Pete! That is f***ing awesome! It was a great day and I feel great about myself!
Listen to this sh*t, I am driving down the road on Sunday, the day after this, and I am at the light by Tommy Guns and some total a-hole d***he bag throws an empty plastic coke bottle out of his window! I was infuriated and was about to ram him, but I didn't. I mean, what a total waste of a human. Who does that crap!?!?!?!?!?!!??

Yeah my wife and I hauled out a lot of trash that day, and we were saying how amazing it is that people are such complete pigs. It's great that that much trash was picked up, but it's really sad that there was that much to pick up in the first place.
When I see people throw stuff out of their car I usually yell "PIG!" at them as loud as possible, hoping that they'll feel embarrassed and not do it next time. I guess it can have the opposite effect sometimes: One time my father was at a stop light and the car in front of him tossed a fast food cup or something out the window. He yelled "litterbug", and in response the pigs through the rest of the trash in their car out as well. Animals.

You forgot one more statistic
1 dead badly decomposed body found in the river by Strawberry Mension bridge.
What do you yell at people when they toss dead bodies out of their vehicles?!

Ack. Did they ever find the body of that guy who jumped in some months ago on the east side near Falls Bridge? I take it that wasn't him?

I'd be afraid to yell anything at anybody, now-a-days. Next thing you know you'll have some A-hole with road rage trying to gun you down.

That's a lot of trash, and the karmic gods are smiling on us all. I feel good, not to mention sore. I think we must have had one of the toghest work sites. Hauling trash up a steep sideslope all day. Good times. Actually it was a good time despite the less than ideal work task, the company and mood of everyone was very uplifting.

You should try riding a road bike! Man, nothing brings out the shitty in some people more than seeing someone riding a bike on the road.
Leaves you at a massive disavantage and sometimes it's really hard to keep the mouth shut.

Well gents, I'm in Istanbul, Turkey right now for work and I have to tell you they need a serious city clean up session. Everytime I think Filthadelphia can't get any worse I travel abroad for work and see how the rest ofthe word lives!! No excuse for how we live in our city because everyone should take pride in how and where they live.
PS. Yes, PMBA is that important to me that I consistently check the website even when I'm on the other side of the big pond. Call it my return to sanity.
