RALLY MEETING AND RIDE SAT 4/12

OK, who would like to meet at the start of the Rally at Northwestern Ave. and go over some details for the layout of the Rally? Then we can ride the trails!!!! Everyone and anyone is invited. This can be a great way to meet new members, figure out some logistics and go for a ride. This will be a group ride at the group's pace. You can ride as short or as long as you want. I plan to ride there from my house so I will have already ridden a good bit... Anyway, here are the details:
9am meet at Northwestern Ave and Forbidden Drive. THis is all the way at the north end of Forbidden Drive. Cross Bells Mills Rd. and keep going about another half mile. Or you can park there and start from there...
LET ME KNOW!!!!

I believe that there's also a TM project up near Courtesy Stables that day, so I'll need to swing by there and take some pictures. But I agree that we need to seriously scope out the RiV trails, so hopefully lots of people will be able to come out on Saturday. I'll bring the radios so that we can try them out.

Lou,
It's Mike O'Connor I worked with you at the last TMD closing up the trail that has since been re-opened. I won't be able to make Sat, 4/12, I have work with the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association on some wetland restoration. I have two first aid kits so far. How many more will we need for the RitV? I can get two kits a day from my company store. Next year I'm going to try to get my company to be a sponsor but this year was short notice. The big corporate wheels move mighty slow, dude!

Yo Mike! SUP? How insane is that that those F-ers opened that trail. I am declaring WAR on them! Hahahaha. F them, I hope they twist an ankle in our holes we dug! Anyway, no worries on this Sat. We will have at least 2 more meetings (well if you can call them that) before the Rally. On Friday before the Rally we will meet at VG and spilt into 4 crews to post all the course signs and stuff. And I will be getting out to do some trail work with various crews between now and the Rally. We gotta get our trails looking good, eh?!?! LAst year we had about 150 riders and only like 2 incidents that needed some first aid. We hope to get at least 200 people, but I can see like 300+ showing up if it's a nice day. So bring whatever you can bring and we should be good... We will make sure to tell riders not to crash before they ride

Can't make this meeting. Have to go help FOW with some tools. Should be out working on the trails all day. Might try ot squeeze in a ride if it dries out later.
