Check this out. There is a meetup.com group called Single Track Attack in the area who often post rides in the Wiss. They've really been on a roll lately with over 100 riders signed up. I haven't done any of their rides yet but a couple of them are riding tomorrow at 10am out of NorthWestern (Thomas Rd & W Northwestern ) and starting with the rocky section to Bells Mill.

I'm not sure how to send a link to the group but if you go to meetup.com and look up "single track attack" or "mountain biking" in the area you can find them.

Anyway, the reason I'm mention this is because they visited the table during one of their rides at the last Gorgas TMD, and they've posted the RitV as one of their group rides too, which I thought was way cool. I wrote to thank them and introduce them to PMBA and one of the moderators sent out the letter to the group. There's a couple of them already interested in joining PMBA.

So if any of us can show up at 10am tomorrow it will help spread the PMBA love. It's posted as "intermediate/advanced", but I know they have a lot of recreational members. It shouldn't be a big turnout being a weekday ride.

I can't make it, but a lot of people have off today, so could be a good turnout.

Unfortunately I can't either, but Rob from SSA will be there with a couple of them.

Are you talking about one group or both of them?

There was the Single track attack based out of Princeton

And the Mountain Biking group based out of Bensalem.

Just curious.

hello all- I'm the guy who organized this morning's ride this post is about..
I've just joined PMBA along with the two ppl I rode with today & am looking forward to meeting you all. Let me start by saying this morning's ride was awesome! Not many ppl on the trails either which was a change from what I'm used to seeing..We did start out by the rock gardens near Chestnut Hill College then shot up Bells Mill's hill. I'm acclimating to a new dually so that hill killed me today! After that I basically just led us into a lot of hill climbs & just kept going till about 1pm. I'll be starting to come out on the weekly rides soon & will try to bring ppl w/me from the group if they're interested. I also posted the RitV ride in April to not only drum up support for the Wiss, but also to get more of our Meetup group intro'd to PMBA. Looking forward to meeting everyone.. Rob.

Hey Bonkers, I bombed past your group ride on Friday (think you had 3 riders, 2 guys and 1 girl?) I recognized 1 of your riders from your posted pics. Didn't realize I pasted you till I was about a mile past your group. Sorry about that!!!! I would have stopped to say hello, but I was too lost in thought about the amazing trail conditions!!! Welcome aboard and look forward to your riders at RIV!!!!
