This is another "not so funny".

Olympic MTB rider busted for EPO!  Say it  ain't so! I mean, MTB riders might not all be drug-free, but up until now it's just been something recreational, at worst it may act as a lube for the brain!  But a pro rider cheating with EPO...

Hey - a lot of the pro cyclists used to be mountain bike racers (Landis, Rasmussen, Evans), so a lot of the culture is the same.  Same guys, different shorts, different bikes.  Apparently the same drugs, though.

Got this from a fellow engineering classmate, but it probably applies to mountain bikers too:

Two engineering students were walking across a university campus when one said, 'Where did you get such a great bike?' The second engineer replied, 'Well, I was walking along yesterday, minding my own business, when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike, threw it to the ground, took off all her clothes and said, 'Take what you want.' The second engineer nodded approvingly and said, 'Good choice; the clothes probably wouldn't have fit you anyway.'

NICE! Greatest movie ever!

Ever see that petition that floats around trying to get RAD on DVD. I've signed it a couple of times. Still waiting.

I have it on original VHS.   Tongue

Great movie, watched it 1000 times as a kid.  Even if it is painfully 80s at times....

yeah bonkers, I saw that too! though I'm wondering how you swing a huge hammer at someone's head for 15 minutes and they're still alive?

On another note, I was just looking up the spelling for dérailleur, or derailer, for the 587th time and came across this thoughtful essay by the late Sheldon Brown:

Totally nuts. Over the handlbars doesn't apply - recumbent riders always look very odd!

Surprising lack of uphills in that video... Especially steep uphills where one needs to stand up for the extra power to make it to the top... Hmmm.... I wonder why?...  Roll Eyes
