I was considering setting up a regular Monday evening night ride in Pennypack or Wissahickon (2-3 hrs or so).  Riding pace, not race.  Meet around 6:30pm, so we all have time to get back from work, followed by optional (yet probable) beers.  If there is interest, please reply and we can set our first date/meeting spot in the coming weeks.  If there is already a ride on Mon or Tues, please let me know when/where that ride is, and we can increase the size, rather than reinvent the wheel here.  Wink

I may be up for Monday night rides at Pennypack. I work close to the Pennypack and can get there easier for group rides in the evening than for Wiss. Plus, I don't really know that park too well and it would be great to have a guide. Let us know!!!!!

I am totally on board for a pennypack ride. I have only ridden there twice and do not know the trails. I think we have a Monday ride in the Wiss lead by Pete, and it starts at Lincold Drive. It's a late ride (7pm) but it needs to be earlier until end of March as there is a curfew in the Wiss to kill deer. B_Newd, let me know details about Pennypack location place and we will add this to the rides on the homepage! Thanks for taking charge of this.

OK all,

Lets do this thing.  Monday Mar 3 will be the first.  I know the park in and out, so navigation (even in the dark) wont be an issue.   Lets meet at the Pine Rd entrance, say 6:30, on Mar 3.  If you guys want to do it tomorrow night, at least you are connected.  My first will be the Mar 3 ride.   I'll be riding a Black Christini.

Glad to see you're in, cant wait.

Brain

PS - Thx rico - now go get some F'in lights, biatch.

Diesel is right, and as much as I dont want to delay the ride, it would be a good show of support to attend the PMBA meeting 7-9PM, then ride in Wissa.... which I understand is common practice after the meetings.  1. Is that True?  2. Concensus?

has happened a couple of times, but right now the deer hunt curfew means no riding after the meeting. That being said, I'm sure the deer hunt isn't happening on the Lincoln Drive trail...

Aside from the PMBA meeting, Pennypack on Mondays sounds awesome to me. I work 5 minutes away and get done between 6 and 630. Do they still have the dirt park/jumps set up?.

Yea I would have to miss the 3rd for the meeting.

In reference to a ride around the meeting. If conditions permit and I am not bringing anything to meeting, I will usually try to start a loop from Livezey pavillion before the meeting and ride the park down toward the diner showing up in time for the meeting. Just remember that you will have to ride back as well and because of park curfew it may be an urban assault. We'll see if they works out again.

Am trying to make it recurring,  but havent gotten one off the ground yet.  LOL   I suck at scheduled rides.....  There is a lot of interest, so I suggest getting with the group, and running it.  I will make it when I can....  Keep in mind the hunt is still on tomorrow starting at 8pm...It ends April 1!!!!  Thank god.
