I'm thinking a late afternoon ride (2ish) will yield the best trail conditions. I am thinking chocolatey brown soil with a moist icing for the rubber knobs to rip in to and rail some turns. You hear me?

I'm heading out a little earlier - about 11 from VG.  Hopefully it will be OK.

Just got a report from riders. When they started at 10am it was frozen, but now it is thawing and getting very muddy. I don't think its gonna be good at 2. SUCKS! Tom and I will be at the Pavillion working the berms. Come out if you want and we can make the call...

I was out at 11 and rode Demo 1.  The upper layer of mud had thawed and was pretty sloppy.  There were plenty of bike ruts frozen in to the trails.  Some riders who were leaving when we arrived said that the trails were still frozen at 9.  Gotta believe that it was unrideable by mid-afternoon.
