No excuse for THIS but probably a good reminder to slow down and use your bell when you see other trail users. I would also suggest that riders stay cordial, even when others don't.

Riding a few years back we would often come across a log roll in the woods where one day the back side of the roll would be destroyed or removed. It must have been squirrels, or the torrential rain, or the deer, or that mean woodpecker...

There are still haters out there, and we don't want to make more of them. If anything we want to dispel their presumptions.
