Wow - too bad! Maybe he'll be lucky - there aren't too many IF mountain bikes out there. Hopefully someone will recognize it on the trails - if it's out there. It's probably being used to ride the streets of Phila. What a waste...

For what it is worth, my friend John had a $4000+ Moots Titanium 29er hardtail stolen and then found it at Mike's Bikes in South Philly!!! The dickhead that stole it sold it to him for peanuts and John was glad to buy it back from him as well as pay him a reward. Soooooo, Harlan, keep your head up and eyes open and this thing just might turn up. You should bring a pic of your bike to every shop in Philly and tell them to call you when the scum tries to sell it to them... Lou

I just printed the story and picture off of Craig's list and I'll try to take it to two shops - Cyclesport in Media and Cycle Fit in Wallingford.
I won't be able to get to the shops until this weekend.

damn that sucks!
harlan is seriuosly one of the hardest working bikers i know. and it is not like being a good mountainbiker gets you paid well.
good luck harlan, if i see that bike on the streets i will definitely let you know.
did i read that you didn't have homeowners insurance?
