I read about this trail in another thread.  Can someone give directions to this trail?  I'm unfamiliar with Wissahickon.  Is this trail new?  It sounds ike fun!

Hmm.... Are you talking about Demo #2 which was completed this August, and is a tough up or down-hill. Or are you talking about the Demo #1 which was built last year and is a fast relatively smooth winding singletrack?

Demo#2:
Route #1:From Valley Green Inn (with your back to the Inn, facing to the creek) go over the stone bridge, look for the trail head on the left, a little way in, make another left over a small wooden bridge, follow that trail. There will be many turn offs, but you want to stay on that trail. Eventually, you will come out to the Rex ave, which is a gravel road with a concrete bridge before it. Go across and into a long three leg switch back climb. at the top of hte climb you'll see the Indian on the left. The IMBA/FOW Demo #2 trail will be right before you, in the downhill direction.

Route #2: Follow forbiddendr to the red covered bridge, cross the creek on the bridge, climb the gravel road and make the right into the trail head, follow that trail for a while, do not turn off, eventually you will come up to the Demo #2 in uphill direction.

Demo #1:
From VG go left (with your back to the Inn), follow the Wises Mill (paved road) up the hill, almost to the light at Henry. You will see a stone wall and wooden gate on the right. On the left there will be a trail head, slightly pointing backwards. Turn in and enjoy the trail. About 1/4-1/2 in the Demo #1 will start. You will see small plaques on the side.
