ugh, that phrase annoys me to no end and pretty much the reason why i can't stand the 29er forum at mtbr. as in all things leave it to a few t00ls to ruin it for everyone.

I'd say a 29 inch wheeled bike with 5 inches of travel and fat tires is going to roll over just about everything on any trail anywhere. Crazy.

The Dos Niner SS will soon be out there in the wild. Watch out!

I thumped down this short rocky technical down hill off one of the arcs to the Forbidden Trail (right where you roll over the metal pipe, following my buddy Dean. I proudly announced to him when I bounced my way to the bottom that the trail he just rode he'll never see again. Why? Because I just brought half the dang rocks down with me. I sure hope the 29er will roll over some of that stuff rather then letting it hitch a ride.

Or this one for anyone wanting to try 29er.

http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=336103

I don't know anything about it beside what is said in the ad. but from the build list looks like a very solid bike.

Good point Max!

Ya all, forget these bikes, all that non-sense about 29er is just a bunch of hoax and hype! They stink! They are slow, and weak, don't even bother looking into them. <cough-cough> Trust me, I know! <cough-cough>

That's better!  Cool

If you were in the park the last couple of days you may have noticed the sudden rustling of leaves and kicked up dust. No worries, there was no tornado forming, it was just me on the Dos Niner soft-tail SS.

anyone have a star nut?
