Awards for the annual banquet?

Hey everyone: We should give out some kind of awards at our annual banquet. (Details to be worked out on this later) But here is what I am thinking:
1) Crash of the Year
2) Save of the YEar
3) Good Deed of the YEar
4) Most heartwarming story of the year (On the trail of course)
5) Worst injury of the year
6) Best race series finish
ANy other ideas?

Trailwork hours -- It can be both a recognition and an incentive (if the award is good enough). At MORE in DC a local shop usually donated a frame or something nice, so people really put in the hours. The top few people would walk away with something decent.
Ride leader awards -- for leading the most rides, or the "best" rides, e.g., creative themes, off-beat locations, etc.
Also awards for non-member community leaders or shops that help the club and go above and beyond. There are already a few people I'm sure we can all think of to fit that bill. Maybe one to a land manager specifically each year.

I think Ezra has the right approach. It's kinda hard to evaluate crashes, saves and other such occurrances without videos. (Of course, if there ARE videos, we would love to see them!) We also should recognize activities that support club goals, and trail work and other similar activities meet those criteria. Recognition of race wins or placements highlights those activities and points out club members who excel at them, which may bring in new riders who want to participate in those activities. For trail maintenance and other volunteer work, we may want to point out the "top 10", or members who volunteered above a specific number of hours.

Great ideas! Kevin Grove has been keeping track of hours for FOW and he should have the number of hours worked by PMBA members as well. I could contact him of better yet he may read this stuff....
