OK PMBA dweebs, who is in for a road trip?!?!!?? Plan is to leave Philly around noon on Saturday 7/21 and drive to Michaux which is out a little past York, PA. Go for a ride Saturday late day and then set up camp and cook loads of food and drink many beers. Wake up Sunday morning and hit a 2-3 hour ride on the other loop and leave camp by 2pm. Those who need to will be home in Philly Sunday in time for dinner. Other team will stop at a place on the way and eat and russle up the locals... Sound off if you wanna go. You need camping gear or you're sleepin on the dirt...

Man that was a great time. Sweet trails and perfect weather. Can't wait to go out there again. The campsite was top notch and even had a nearby quarry to swim in post ride. Good times.

Still having flashbacks of those rocky bermed turns. Shocked   Where we going next?

Yea what a perfect trip. it was like fall weather. Except when we were on the beach at the quarry. Girls in bikinis! Trails are super fun.

It sounds like you had a great time.  I have been inspired to make the trip out to Michaux.  If you could put up any details about where  you camped or any trail info that would be great.  Might even make it this weekend!

Yo Pete, we did get some pics but haven't had chance to download yet. Hopefuly soon. Chuck was there with Heather. We had a great time! I laughed so hard all night it hurt. Chuck had the great idea to start shot-gunning cans of Bud. Thankfully we ran out of beer after a couple of those... We camped at the Pine Grove Furnace camp area. We actually used the Group area and just told the ranger that we were all part of PMBA! Nice benefit of this club! We rode over to the quarry Sunday right after our ride and went swimming. There is a nice beach with sand and all. It was a great place...
