I was hoping Dave D would chim in with more details. I don't have all the info on hand, but it's 2 months away, we will post all the specifics well in advance. I just wanted to get the word out for people interested in helping out to mark the calendars and make plans.

Bump to the top in hopes everyone will notice that the date had changed.

I apologize for the inconvenience and potential scheduling conflicts. I was just informed that originally we were given an incorrect date. I thought it would be a good idea to get the info and the date out as soon as possible to give everybody as much as possible of an advance notice. But by Murphy law it came back to bite me you know where....

I hope it didn't mess anyone up too much and we all will be able ot show up and support this project on the new date.

Thanks

I will definitely get you all more details as they emerge. We had been waiting for dates since March, they finally sent the first dates, then a shortly thereafter changed them to the 7/30-8/10. I hope to be available the entire time. It is intended to work in some formal  training in trail building and maintenance and I really hope a bunch of you can participate.

In the meantime I think we will have our volunteer coordinator in place to enhance our capacity for trail work.

Again, more details will be provided as soon as I have them.

PS The annual FOW meeting is June 5th at VGI. Speakers (Mark Focht, yours truly) will discuss the Sustainable Trails Initiative. See FOW website for details.
