Notes:  Starts at the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum. Brief ceremony at 6:45 pm.


DATE: May 16, 2007
TIME: 7:00 pm
WHERE: Hundreds of locations world wide

Join cyclists worldwide in a silent slow-paced ride (max. 12 mph/20 kph) in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways.

WHY DOES THIS SITE EXIST?
To HONOR those who have been injured or killed
To RAISE AWARENESS that we are here
To ask that we all SHARE THE ROAD

I will be riding in Fruita Colorado this Wednesday 5/16. I will be there is spirit though. Great idea and great event...

i couldn't find anything if was canceled or not...i am having a hard time getting motivated to come out in the thunderstorms as well. i am going to wait it for a little then make up my mind...

It was on. I went. Proudly wore PMBA t-shirt in the rain... Note to self, rain + cotton t-short = lotsa shivering.

Not a huge crowd, but it was cool and a good cause, and having half a dozen Philly Police Explorers zooming around blasting cirence at cars to stay out of our way is def a unique experience. Oh and did I say a good cause?
