The Wissahickon is HUGE and there are many trail segments which are more favorable than others.
Can everyone please post their FAVORITE trails in the Wissahickon here with details (aka how technical, incline, difficulty etc.)
My favorite trail this year so far is the Demo Trail which starts at Wise Mill Road on the Right side of the road when you first enter the part (maybe 50 ft from the traffic light). About 500 ft into the trail you will see the sign indicating the start of the demo trail. Continue along the yellow trail for an awesome ride until you've had enough.
I'd appreciate additional FUN trails anyone can share.
Peace!

My favorite segment is from gorges lane on the roxborough side out to the lookout that over looks lincoln drive. Then of course the bowl!

It seems that over the years of riding out there I always change my entry/exit point. I guess I started entering at Walnut Lane and ging off towards the stables.
I then switched to Valley Green and riding up the hill behind the Inn. Before my new one, I entered at VG and climbed up to the demo trail.
My new favorite way is to enter at "the bowl" on Hermit Ln. Drop in the bowl. Go past the "cave" and ride the upper trail all the way to the Inn. Once at the Inn, I will either turn around and do the whole thing over, or continue on the trail over Wisses Mill Rd. and ride the park north and then take forbidden drive back to Kitchens lane. Take the trail back to the bowl and then home. I love that there are so many diff. points of entry and exit to the park. Other parks I have been at had only one way to get in, and uni-directional trails. I guess they are safer, but I like choices.

My fav is to enter at Livezy and head south. Lot of fun ups and downs going in that direction. I also like the demo trail because it has great flow. Twisty turny is another good one. That's the trail that starts at the meadows and winds all the way down to forbidden.
