the crew from dirtrag is hosting the second annual crush the commonwealth this year on May 18th.

the idea is to roll out of pittsburgh and end up in philly a few days later.

the rules are to follow PA bike route south across the state (not much else in the way of rules). it is roughly 400 miles and most of them are pretty nice along side roads and generally bike friendly streets.

i did it last year and have to say it was probably the biggest cycling accomplishment of my life. plus it was a sh!tload of fun! only time i have ever had to think about nothing but biking for three days straight....

i think a few of us are planning to get a van to haul our carcasses to pittsburgh for the start so if you want in on that, holla....

thanks for posting this here. Just for the record there is no official connection with DirtRag, Michael Browne ended up involved last year after Carol's mishap, but this was and is just a few cyclists getting together for some LSD(long steady distance).

but then i DEFINITELY remember your involvement as well.
