Not sure how the riding will be for this event, but I'll be there with my bike all shined up for the pixxsssssssss

yeah if the trails are in decent shape maybe we can organize a couple rides after the photo taking for those who are interested.

again if the trails are decent i might be riding before the photo as well.

i'd definitely lead a ride at somepoint through the event... but i won't be showing off any trails that are still muddy.

another option would be to flag a simple little loop through the woods so people who don't know the trails can give themselves a nice little self guided tour of some of the trails...

tom, you gonna be there? you got any obstacles that could be brought out for "testing"?

Yet to ride Belmont and looking forward to this event. Feeling a little on the sluggish side since I haven't been riding much over the past 6-7 months  :o Hopefully the weatherman will be wrong and a few rides will take place.

Check out this attached picture!!!!! They have 50 riders and this was in 1885! Can you imagine people looking at our photo in 2107?!?!??! Mind boggling... Spread the word!

I dunno if this qualifies as "fun," but if the trails are too muddy to ride there are a few short-but-steep road hills very close by, we could do a mini hill-climb challenge. Maybe some contests.. heaviest/lightest bike, longest trackstand, wheelie, etc.

Depending how wet things are maybe we could all ride en masse over to wiss and ride there?

WE could go completely crazy and ride around the nice neighborhood which surrounds Belmont. That will take "urban assault" to a whole new level.

it doesnt look like the weather is going to work with us this weekend.  hopefully the weather people and wrong and the trails will be ready to go... ::)

if not i like the idea of shooting over to wiss for some shenanigans....id like to see you DH/FR guys go at it in the bmx bowl!

Yea, this sucks. It was supposed to be sunny and 65?!? Should we postpone it? Whaddya think?

according to the weather channel (which i have often found to be overly pesimistic) there is only a chance of showers everyday...

the highest percentage being 40%

i am still cautiously optimistic...

and if the trails are too muddy i think we should definitely have some fun anyway on the fireroads and parking lots...

weather.com now says theres only a 10% chance of rain on sunday.  yippee!

but they bumped saturday from 40% to 60%... argh!

yeah i am going to head down out of andorra on my singlespeed. i was also HOPING to ride some trails on the way down but that doesn't look like it is a good idea at this point.

when were you thinking of heading over? maybe meet along forbidden somewhere?

if we can't ride trails sunday i might have to dig my flask outta hibernation.

max - yeah we could meet on forbidden. valley green? or on ridge somewhere too. i live at ridge and wigard. i was thinking about leaving sometime around 10 or 10:30, but could really meet at any time.

AWESOME EVENT. Thanks to everyone who showed up, and Trophy Bikes, and the Photog was great. Can't wait to see the pics, and buy some... Someone please post instructions how....

I heard the final count was 57? Great turn out! Awesome riding!
