Title: wed. 7:30 ride is going to be earlier this week Post by: Durb on August 12, 2008, 09:34:54 PM I have to get home by the time my wife gets off work because I haven't seen her in a week but I want to ride desperately. Let's just combine with the 5:30 ride if you can make it. I'm post-call tomorrow so hopefully I don't oversleep and miss the ride but I'll try to be there. Jesse, BTW, I met your neighbor Joe the other night here at the hospital.

Any ideas on a budget bike? He's a bit over 6' and 190 lbs. Budget probably means FS is out though. Might be able to talk him into something more... I work at Temple and just found out that Jesse's neighbor is a fellow resident. I think Jesse actually has told me about him but until the other night I hadn't bumped into him yet. Joe sounds like he is really interested into getting a bike. I actually bumped into him again today. Anyway, I just got off from a 30hr shift so I may meet up with you guys tonight but, then again, maybe not. Kona's make some good hardtails in the $500-$1000 range.
