This is from the meetup group that I also ride with. I set up a "trials & trails ride" on July 19th out at Green Lane at 11am if anyone's interested in this sort of thing.. I know this is really early but I figured between summer vaca's & stuff people might need time to plan for this.

Jay Hughen, a competitive XC & trials rider will be demonstrating & instructing some trials riding at Green Lane. Learn some trials skills that could help you on the trails get over some obstacles or You might learn to jump an obstacle or two all while using just the rear wheel. He's also talked about allowing some people to try out his trials bike if they'd like (ballsy move if you ask me), but it should be a blast either way.. After the trials demo, we'll be riding some of the trails nearby that the park offers. It's not the most technical trails but it's a change of scenery.
 
To get to Green Lane from the City areas you'd follow Rt 73 West into Montgomery County. When you hit the Schwenksville Area (where Spring Mountain is) you'll continue on 73 untill the "Y" where Rt 73 & Rt 29 intersect just past the Chevy dealer & the blinking lights. Follow Rt 29 to the right. Once you are on Rt 29 - turn left onto Park Rd. drive up a small hill a short distance to Green Lane Rd on left. - Drive a few hundred feet to entrance of park on your left - follow to dead end. (Small parking lot) Meet between the tennis courts and the skating rink/playground area. Look for a gold Nissan Altima with roof rack.
