I have been waiting for one of these events for so long, and of course its th 14th.

I'll be in Maryland for a wedding so I can't make it.  Hopefully I can catch the next one. 

Danny- start feeling ill a couple days before, then start coughing & grumbling about the stomach pains. The day of when you wake up just keep saying how sick you feel & start moaning..OH- but don't get caught with your cycling shoes on in bed!  ;D

I should be there.  Gotta be out by noon though to shower up and head down to the Stadium area to tailgate with the Parrotheads before I go to the Rush concert!   ;D

ditto, I'll be in MD for father's day stuff that weekend  :-[

Newz flash:: I have gotten a request to change the time of the ride on Sat the 14th, Fow is working at Devils Pool, and the time clash, I'm thinking instead of 10am making it either 12pm, or 2pm? Anyone have a prefference!?!!  ???

Well, my preference would be as early as we could.  I am being selfish though, since I need to leave at a certain to go to a concert.

Well, the best shot for me to make it would be 2p.m.  This will give me enough time to drive up from Annapolis.  But that doesn't necessarily mean I will be there, it just increases my odds.

OK I just confirmed with Karl, we don't think devils pools is going to clash with the riders comming so the time stand as is
10am will be the time to meet--NO CHANGE in time,  10 am - sorry Danny,

FYI. Intermediates are welcome to join us, and expert riders too! All PMBA members are encouraged to show their faces,its a good opportunity to see us together without shovels and wheel-barrels ....

Ha-ha.  Jess....I changed my sig.  When I first set it up there was a limit on the number of characters allowed, so in order to get the whole quote in there I had to shorten it.

I believe that was Wise's Mill, fightnut. We didn't go to Summit which would be the next major road so back track one from that.

Just want to say thanks for having the clinic.
I had a good time and learned a few things as well.
look forward to more in the future.

I want to thank everyone for showing up, it was a great ride, and I had a lot of fun.  It was good to get to meet some new people who are getting back into riding. I wasn't expecting such a large turn out and that made it even better.

Sorry one guy had to jet early, but even beginner rides can be tough.  I wasn't thinking before that "beginner ride" could mean, experienced riders who haven't ridden in a while, "beginning" to ride again! What a great concept! For some reason I never thought about it but it makes great sense. The sport has changed a bit from advancements in technology development of bikes in that past couple years, it must be great to come back to the sport again.

How about a roadtrip to Fairhill?

Hou about Fair Hill next Saturday?  It's a great place for beginners and intermediates alike. 

Also - we're still looking for participants for the Horse/Bike Experience on Sunday.  It's a good chance for new riders to help PMBA's image and learn about another group of trail users.

Yeah, that was a great ride and it was great to meet some of the people who are new to the board.  Sorry I had to bail at Wises Mill Road as well.  Too much beer on Thursday and Friday makes for a shorter ride on Saturday.

I only rode with you guys for a short section of the park but i thought it was great to see such a large group.   I literally had forgotten that the ride was going on so I was really surprised when all of you passed me when I stopped.

I had a great time yesterday, thanks to everyone and it was nice to meet you all. I hope there will a few more meet-up like this, I'll check the mountain bike meet up website for more.

yeah that part sucked, we all flaked on the cameras! I think what you're bound to see though is the increase in the turnout for whenever the next clinic would be.

Rico - the guy in the black truck is my friend Soo - he's gotta build up stamina on the flats before he hits trails.  He loved getting out though - after a few dozen miles on the flat's I'll put him in touch with you as he lives in Abington and Pennypack would work well for him.

Thanks Karl.  I think PennyPack would be a good place to work up to the Wiss for him.  It is always easy to bail out to the paved trail there and there is definitely less hill there.
