i'm running an evil sovereign which has adjustable dropouts and a replacable derailleur hanger. on this frame the hanger is a seperate piece made from steel which is mounted to the aluminum drive side dropout. on my last two rides i believe my hanger may have flexed sufficiently to allow the derailleur to get wrapped into my wheel. i would like to find a place willing to machine me a one piece dropout/hanger from aluminum- ti would be nice but is probably cost prohibitive. i have inquired with one machine shop, chris's machine shop in doylestown, but they're telling me it will be ~800 to create a program and machine a few dropouts- obviously this isn't an option. if anyone has any suggestions for a shop that may be able to do the job for a reasonalbe amount, please let me know. thanks.

Hey my buddy Joe just bought a brand new Bullit and he wanted to run Saint rear derailleur and Abington WHeel Wright Bike shop custom fabricated a drop out from Aluminum, exactly what you are talking about. Call them and ask for Miko or Trey and tell them what I just told you and they should be able to hook you up. He didn't charge Joe much, but he spent many thousands at that shop so I am sure he got a deal. ANyways, good luck...

Sure the stop screws are set correctly?  Other than that you could take it to a shop and see if it's tweaked.  They should have the park tool that checks it.

FWIW; For the same thickness/design hanger, the steel one will be the most stiff, ti second, alum most flexy.....

You could also try Bilenky cycle works in philly. They are the makers of the EWR frames and do custom work.
