Hello all, We are developing the PMBA riding jersey and we want anyone and everyone who has the ability to submit a design. Chris Hunter threw this design together in an hour and it's a great start. It may be hard to conceptualize from the template, but I think you can imagine it.

Note that once we have the design you can order any type of jersey you want, like short sleeve, long sleeve, tight, loose, etc...

Sah-weeeeeet.  I'll have to try to do one tonight after work.

Here's our logo

Here's a rough draft of a jersey, that I believe, encapsulates the Philadelphia experience. From the Eagles (no matter the sporting event it E-A-G-L-E-S Go Eagles), to 40ozs, cheesesteaks, gun violence, and gold chains.  Of course you can't forget Wawa... No matter what we do, its fueled by Wawa.  If they only sold alcohol... one can dream....

Thats what I said!  I have a friend that's good with that stuff, I'm sure he could whip up some "custom" graffiti for it....

Okay, maybe I am really computer illiterate, but how do you make the jersey? 

The template is in PDF format.  How do you copy and paste into that?

Or is there a way to do it through the link that Lou put up?

The proper way would be to open the PDF in Adobe Illustrator and then create a new layer or layers for your art.  Alternatively,  for comping purposes, you can open the PDF in Photoshop and rasterize it at a decent resolution. (1000px wide or higher) and mock up your art.  If you are doing it for printing Illustrator is def. the way to go, but sometimes its easier to work on your ideas in Photoshop and then redo the finals in Ill.

Yeah, Creating the template properly will require the use of Adobe Illustrator and the use of Clipping Masks. 

You use the templates as your clipping mask for your design.

Sorry to bump this thread, but is anyone still interested? That wawa jersey is amazing, btw.

Definitely still interested.   I just haven't had a life outside of work the last couple weeks to work on anything.  Hope to get back at it soon. Anyone else got an attempt in the works?

I would def get 2 of them. One to ride in and the other to hang above the mantel I don't have.

So we have a general idea of the jersey design and there has been some discussion amongst the board whether we are actually going to order these things.

So do we still have a lot of interest?

I know that I'm in to get a few. Depending on what the final cost will be. We may take orders or we may just make them available in the store depending on the amount of interest.

I would be interested depending on what they look like, can we see the current ideas?

I'd most likely buy at least one to support PMBA, maybe more than one depending on the design and final price.

I'm down for at least 2.................depending on the finalized design

I'd definitely get one, maybe two.  not down with the trees either- how about the philly skyline on the back over the pockets?  also, how about a grey/silver background instead of white.  can we use the FOW or the Fairmount Park Commission logos on it?  just suggestions.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty down with the Wawa/Glock/Cheesesteak version. ;)

I'm still interested in getting one (or two) of these jerseys. I agree with Dmitri though, if cost doesn't become an issue, maybe we should have 2 versions of this. I like the option of having a looser fitting jersey.

Ok, I'm down with finishing the glock, 40oz, cheesesteak version.  I was wondering if anyone has a thick gold chain and a glock that Chuck could photograph? We need to get the perspective and scale right for the jersey.  I'll supply the 40oz...

I will buy 2 at least..  I like the design.  Nice job Hunter!  What does everyone think about adding some color like some orange or something so we are easy to identify..?   

Count me in for at least one short sleeve and one long sleeve. Once we get the design you can choose the fit and sleeve length yourself... Yo Nick, Neil has a glock and we may have to go buy a fake gold chain to photo. If you find one buy it and the club will reimburse you as long as it's not crazy money... There is a costume shop down on 2nd st that will most likely have something cool. I will try to get down there or someone else do it if your down by 2nd and Race. Hunter I like yours too, maybe make a revision or another option, drop the REI logo and put some racin stripes on that baby. Damn I wish I have illustrator on my PC...

Cool...Neil can we borrow the Glock?  I promise I wont rob liquor stores with it....

What would be better authentic gold chain or gold bike chain around the neck?

Yeah, KMC makes Ti nitrided chains that are gold in color......pretty expensive but could be used after the photos were taken.

But maybe philly style chain would be better.

I will buy 2 of the cheesesteak ones for sure. And I know a couple others that will as well. Got to go with the 'Philly' gold chain to keep it Gansta.

Anyone know when the regular PMBA jersey's will be out? (Not the Wawa/Glock one) .  I'm also interested in purchasing one.
