Was planning on getting my g/f out on her road bike tonight and I wasn't sure where, if any, paved trails are where I could take her.  This will be her first time back on a bike, probably since high school.

Any ideas of where to go?

How about just a cruise down Forbidden Drive. Kelly drive is also a nice ride with some good views.

Is Forbidden Drive gravel or paved? 

Should I park down by the entrance by the stables for the best access to there?

It's more like gravel. Very easy to ride on, no steep hills. That's a perfect place to park. Have fun. Don't forget food for the ducks.

Another short notice. Is there anyone going out for a ride tomorrow, Monday? If you want to roll together, post the time and place.

I will be heading out from the stables on northwestern (north end of the park) at around 5:30-ish. Gunning for a full lap at medium steady pace, as few as possible stops.

Be riding wiss tomorrow around 1030 at Livezy. I'm still on vacation! So I may try to catch you too. Racing 24 next week so might as well do a long day of riding to help me prepare.

what way do you want to head from Bells Mill? I can meet there around 5:25-5:30. I can ride Indian to Bells Mill and head up mother, or revers it depending on what side you're doing. I won't last long; I'll just end up doing a half loop and bailing at VG.

The regular Monday 6 PM ride from VGI is on for this week, January 28th.

Try to be at VGI before 6 so that we could wheel out at 6.

Dam I should have called you. Had a great ride with Fletch. Did you get out?

Nope, didn't get out of work till late and bagged the ride. But we had our revenge yesterday. It was cool as hell! The bikes and us crusted in thin layer of ice. Trails were awesome. John and Max turned the lights off and rode just like that, NUTS!
