Bike Don't Drive Philadelphia, PA April 14, 2007 08:00AM to 08:30AM Event Description: Bikes should replace cars. Now that would be progress. They are healthier for the earth, to say nothing of the individual transported. This event promotes the transition from automobile to bicycle. With over twenty miles of bike paths extending along the Schuylkill River from the suburbs to Center City, Philadelphia is an ideal metropolis for leading the advance. Participants will meet at the Art Museum steps for a Step-It-Up photo and then breakaway for rides to destinations of their own choosing. Come with friends. Meet new riders. Pedal with a purpose. Location: Base of Philadelphia Art Museum Steps Directions: Base of Art Museum Steps at the end of the Ben Franklin Parkway.
