Looking for people to assist the Friends of the Wissahickon rebuild a trail!!! Their July workday on Saturday, July 14, will restore a badly eroded section of trail near Gorgas Lane in Roxborough. 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Coffee, drinks, and snacks will be served. Hats, sunglasses, light-weight pants, and sun block are encourged. FOW and PMBA will provide tools and work gloves.

Directions

From Ridge Avenue in Upper Roxborough:
Take Ridge Avenue southbound past the WAWA at Lemonte Street.
Gorgas is the next street on the left.
Turn left at Gorgas and go to the bottom of the hill to the gate at
the trailhead.

From Ridge Avenue in Lower Roxborough:
Take Ridge Avenue northbound past Gorgas Park and past Roxborough High School on the left at Fountain Street.
Gorgas is the next street on the right.
Turn right on Gorgas and go to the bottom of the hill to the gate at
the trailhead.

Parking

Please park carefully and avoid blocking driveways and other vehicles. Volunteers may need to park a up the hill and walk down to the trailhead.
