October Trail Maintenance Day! The weather is getting cooler, it feels nice.

This month we are going back to Hartwell Lane, the worksite we were at in June, to finish up some more regrading and managing the large amounts of water that washes away the soil there.

We would really like to make the regrade rocky! Which means we need lots of help. None of us want the trails to end up smooth, we want rocks. Only way we are going to acheive this it by putting the rocks in the trail as we change the trail to a sustainable grade. It will no longer erode and be challenging to ride. This is a tough task that requires a good amount of extra work so please come on out and help the cause.

The meeting spot for this site can be tough to find, but it is very close to the Valley Green Inn. This Map should help as it pinpoints the location where staging will be.

Tools, food, water and coffee will be provided. Please wear sturdy shoes, hiking or work boots are best. We will have gloves but feel free to bring your own.
